I wasn’t the official photographer for the shoot but I had a camera on hand so I decided to take some shots.
The dresses are by Mark Bumgarner and the jacket and pants are by Roy Back.

This jacket is insaaaane.

Last December 2011, Blanc Magazine had a shoot in Makati for their new issue which was just released last week.

EIC of Blanc Magazine and a close friend, Josei!!

Kit! Her face is just so symmetrical and effortlessly fierce.

Of course, they needed to have a shot!

Kit’s last look.

Testing the lights

We shot at Edifice Studios in Pasong Tamo. After that, we decided to go guerilla and headed to The Fort where we had Kit walk around High Street wearing Mark Bumgarner couture lol. It was very fun and exciting.

That’s it for now! I’ll be uploading some of my shots next time. :-)
Last week, classes resumed…. at least for my classmates. I was stuck at home taking care of the worms inside my tummy. I’m kidding. I was sick.

My room looked so messy but I liked it. Rarr…
Those plastic bags and container contain fabrics for the line I’m going to release HOPEFULLY by Feb. ‘yan nanaman ako sa mga pangako… or maybe I’ll just use them as blankets. Hmm.

Chucks… Yay
No matter the fez, if I catch you wearing a pair of chucks, you’re automatically hot to me. lels.
I take that back…

My small brown bed. A constant reminder of my forever alone peg in life. Drama, please…

I went outside hoping to find inspiration(naks) ‘cause I was too bored and I wanted to do something rather than lay on my bed… Which is now the only thing I want to do. #regrets

Kylie kylie kylie

I don’t know…

I went back to my room and decided to draw instead. Can you guess who this girl is? Of course you can! Delisioso!

You see how boring my life is when you’re not with me? :-P Kidddddd bye
I’m still sick but I can already see the light shining down on me…

Outfit change. #dedication

UP Diliman Lanter Parade 2011
Tada! After roughly two weeks, we managed to make three dresses for the parade… Plus, we were also able to make wings that actually light up.. Whaddup.. That’s special thanks to Ivy and her uncles!
My block decided to make this one extra special since this will be the last time we’re going to participate in the event. We were all very happy with the outcome.

Our VS angels :-P

It’s me! Haha my friend Jamie took the photo.

And now with the angels haha borrowed my prof’s costume…. Thanks to Jamie for the photo!

Can you guess our inspiration for the wings?

After the parade, we knew we needed to make it sulit… or in Kris Aquino’s words, get more from what we paid for. So, we had a ‘shoot’ on our way back to the college. It was very much like the shoot we had last year after the parade, only this time, we had 5 angels.

It was already like fantasy… only the cellphone brought you back to reality.

Them lost angels.

That’s it! Next time, we’ll be watching the other batches rule the acad oval.
By the way, our college won best lantern for the first time (I think)! Whadupp!! Congrats College of Home Economics! Woot!
December 14 was a really tiring day for me and my blockmates. A lot of work were still needed to be done, especially with the coming Lantern Parade. We were all so drained that we decided we needed to detoxify and relax… So we followed the lights.

This Husky is cute. Our Husky is handsome.

I’m stuck at home cause of this stupid sickness. To be honest, I really want to be back to school now. I take back everything I’ve said during the Christmas break. I need school. As for the moment, I am bored and I decided to make this.
Last December 16, 2011, our school had its annual Lantern Parade and my blockmates and I were all very excited to participate. Last year, our class made one dress out of recycled materials. For this year, we wanted something that would really last, something that can actually be worn. So, we decided to use muslin… What made us more excited was that we were tasked to make 3 dresses!

To be honest, we really didn’t have a lot of time to make the dresses. We had to squeeze it all in during our very short breaks. We even had to ask permission from some of our professors to allow us to use the time to work on it. But, we all managed to finish the three dresses on time. How? By simply applying what we’ve learned in class! Haha. We basically planned it all out and developed a system where certain people will work on certain parts of the dresses. As we liked to call it, we were all on ‘Pabrika mode’ during those weeks. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun as well.

What’s funny about how we work is that during the last week, every day after working on the dresses, we’d all treat ourselves and go out and eat. I had a lot of fun especially during that week. We’d all work so hard during the day and reward ourselves with a night out. God, I love my block.
